Modernized an MVP-grade frontend into a production-ready platform with improved velocity and UX consistency.

The Challenge

Ellis, a US startup serving immigrants, students, and H-1B holders with mobile/SIM and banking services, had successfully validated their product with an MVP. But the frontend was showing its limitations - inconsistent UX, technical debt, and velocity constraints that would block their growth.

They needed staff-level frontend expertise to modernize the codebase while maintaining their development pace.

What We Built

Working closely with the CTO, we transformed the frontend in six months:

  • Modernized architecture introducing structure and reliability to the codebase
  • Built component library for consistency and development speed
  • Established frontend standards covering code quality, patterns, and practices
